100m+ private M/Y looking for a 2nd Officer – CBBM.

This high profile very large Superyacht is seeking a valuable 2^nd Officer or to work closely with the Chief Officer in this demanding role.  The Second Officer acts as the First officer’s right hand at an operational level. You may be specifically responsible for the navigation of the yacht and keeping charts and keeping publications up to date and you will also be the designated safety and environmental control officer. The 2^nd Officer will share the bridge responsibilities for passage planning, chart corrections, managing, monitoring the navigation and radio equipment and undertaking bridge watches.  You will also be responsible to ensure that the vessel complies with COLREGS.

Location: TBC

Salary: Euro 6,500 month

Contract: 4:2 rotation

Qualifications:

OOW Unlimited II/1 or Chief Mate Unlimited CoC
•ECDIS (Kongsberg type specific preferred)
•SSO, GMDSS
•Proficiency in Medical Care Aboard Ship
•Heli Landing Officer (HLO)
•STCW95/10 Updated
•Seafarers Medical Certificate

EXPERIENCE:

2+ years’ on 80m+ yachts or passenger vessels
•Superior leadership, communication, management and diplomatic skills
•Excellent boat handling & navigational skills
•Knowledge of ISM and ISPS and MARPOL practices
•Professional appearance - No visible Tattoos
