73m Private Dual Season motor yacht looking for a junior deckhand to join their team.
This is a family, not your typical yacht crew- all crew has serious longevity on board.
The vessel is run professionally yet everyone has to play their part and the crew really enjoy being on board.
This role offers a 5:1 rotation and many opportunities to advance in the ranks and develop an amazing skill set.
The Chief officer is all about educating and teaching his team, and there is an entire day each week dedicated to teaching.
You will have the opportunity to learn tender driving, crane operations, how to work with power tools, helm work, radar, and emergency operations.
There is a training allowance on board for the crew to advance their skills and tickets when time in between seasons allow.
Start date is in the next couple weeks in Antigua, there will be a 3-5 day onboard trial to make sure its a good fit.
Very active and life orientated crew, not a bunch of heavy drinkers that hit the pub after work, everyone is into their own thing, Rugby, Hiking, yoga, surfing and the crew love to adventure together.
The right applicant will have an interesting background such as EMT, Diver, Ski resort, Water sports pro, athlete or carpenter for example.

The salary on offer is $2500 per month for the first 3 months and will be reviewed accordingly after that.

STCW, ENG1, PB2 and B1B2 visa is mandatory for this role.

Location: 2020 Med Based (Summer) / 2019/20 Caribbean (Winter)

Salary: DOE industry standard.

Contract: Permanent 5:1 rotation
